For the light-weight jacket, are we allowed to wear it when not in uniform and the rank is taken off?

Regarding the fleece- are you required in the instructions to have a ABU top on underneath the fleece when wearing it as an outer garment?

This is in the 2009 version of the AFI 36-2903:

2.19. All personal grooming standards apply while participating in physical fitness
activities (refer to AFI 36-2903 table 1.5) with one exception: long female hair will be
secured but may have loose ends

Meaning that you should have it up in a pony tail, but do not need to secure it all the way in a bun. My hair is short, so I put a headband on (that is the same color as my hair). That way it is secured as well.

can someone inform me of the regs for female hair in pt gear? I have looked all over the web and i found i can wear it with loose ends, but i still seem to get randomly lectured that it is wrong. Is there a newly revised 2010 AF 36-2903?
