n00bs- How well did you read the front cover? In the 1 March 2009 edition it states, clear as day, “RELEASABILITY: Aceess to this publication is restricted: this publication may be released to Department of Defense (DOD) personnel only; requests for accessibility outside of the DOD must be approved by the OPR.”

It’s funny that the majority of the comments on here that induce the most drama are obviously posted by the enlisted side of the house; this childish, sophomoric attitude is why most enlisted people are looked at as immature and uneducated. This manual, although available thru many civilian commercial sites, undoubtedly thru the help of prior military members, IS a restricted publication and the military in itself has taken the steps to make sure it stays that way. Yes, it is available in E-Pubs. Try getting there without the proper certificates and login. Even Lt. Col Ugelstad, the OPSEC “MAN WITH THE PLAN” has stated this is not supposed to be available in this manner, no matter if anyone thinks the material inside is worth the read or not. This is a sad look into the mindset of the American Airman; I am ashamed to call y’all my Air Force bretheren.

It says RIGHT IN THE FRONT COVER on the NEWEST and THE 04 version:

By order of the Secratary of the Air Force 1 March 2009. As mentioned before, none of this information is unique to military operations, and most of it is common sense or common knowledge. Even what isn’t could be found EASILY on goggle or wikipedia. If this was a threat to our military function, I guarantee this website would have been given a C&D within 12 hours of posting it. Want proof? Look into wikileaks.

Why is everyone complaining on here… Bunch of whiners. If anyone thinks it an “OPSEC breech” stop crying like a baby, and do something about it. I guess a College Degree (LtCol) can’t buy some common sense, or balls.

As was previously pointed out, this manual can be downloaded straight from the E-Pubs site. Jimmy may have hosted it on this site, but I, currently NOT at a military computer, am able to go to the E-Pubs site and access, download and view the current 10-100!! If this is ‘not to be distributed outside of DOD personnel’, then the AIR FORCE is failing from the start!! Furthermore, as previously stated, there is no information in this manual that is not already public knowledge or extremely available via a 15 second search of Google. The fact that it is contained in one easy to carry book does not change the fact that it is public knowledge, nor does the USAF’s statement make it FOUO.

Its not classified, but it is limited. For anyone with one read the inside of the front cover. Not to be distributed outside of DOD personnel. Not that theirs anything in here thats classified, but the less people who know our ins and outs the better imo.

Google AFMAN 10-100. You can buy this very thing off of AMAZON.COM(25$ new, 7$ used). If Amazon can sell it, it is not classified.

I honestly would expect a Lt. Col(a college educated man) to be capable of using google, and I am disappointed.
