Friends son getting stationed here next month. Looking for nice, safe place to live near base. Any comments about areas or suggestions would be appreciated. Most of the search is online which makes it harder. Thank you!!

i was stationed there with 31st TFW from 1962-66. regret never getting back before andrew destroyed base. lot of fond memories

I was with sac,from 57 to 1961.It was a great base,i love the base and homestead.It still brings a tear to my eye’s to see what andrew did to the base.It also was the end of a beautiful little town call homestead.In 2001 we moved 200 miles north.

i was a military dependent once. I loved that base. Andrew took a great histoery from us. Im hopeing Pres Obama wont finish the base off. Its one of the few perks of living in homestead. My eye candy airmen:-)
