"Military Must Agree to Murder Americans as Re-enlistment Rules." Can you verify this report? It is spreading like wildfire on the internet! It of course, concerns me as it should any American if it is true. And would they tell us if it was? I am only a private citizen but think we have a right to know this for our sons and daughters are the ones enlisting.

My son, 25, wants to join the Air Force, talked to a recruiter and was told that if he has any tattoos, they are ok if they do not show, has one on his bi-cep, and was told if it shows wearing a short sleeve shirt, he can`t enlist. Also he was asked if he has ever had a DUI, he has, and was told he could not enlist..
Requirments sure have changed since I enlisted in 1969, they would take anyone back then. With the requirements they have now, I`m not sure how they can get anyone to enlist..Good luck to those who try.

I'm currently in college to become a respiratory therapist. I met a current air force enlisted who is obtaining her degree in the civillian world, but already a RT in the Air Force. She told me many great things about the program and said I should join after I obtain my license and degree.

However, I didn't disclose my past to her. I went into the Marine Corps, got injured during the last week or so of basic, and was sent to a readiness platoon for the injured. There, they questioned my medical history, and my medical history was forwarded from my pediatrician. A long time ago, I had been prescribed Zoloft, briefly (less than a month), because I was having a lot of anxiety with high school, and they found that to be a fraudulent enlistment, and kicked me out.

Is it even possibly for me to consider a military career again? Would I even be accepted at a MEPS center with that in my history still?
